“I can’t imagine a single American whose dream for our economy entails a few Wall Street billionaires amidst a swelling underclass of millions and millions of low-wage workers with the middle class rapidly joining the ranks of the latter.”

Sally, your last several articles keeps advocating President
Obama’s proposed jobs bill. Can you or anyone advocating his proposed stimulus
plan articulate the specific points within the plan that are conducive to job
growth? Can you discuss the specific occupations in which the job growth will
occur?  Can you discuss the milestones
that will be used to measured success? Can you discuss if the funding can be
moved between programs that meet their milestone and those programs that don’t?

Will the proposed bill stop environmental groups from
shutting down the timber industry? Will the bill prevent the EPA from
withholding permits from the mining and energy industries? Will the job’s bill
bring back the off-shored American industries? Will union and management hold
hands and sing Kumbaya. Is there at least a paragraph that will put an American
on the other end of the phone when I call a support line?

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 pumped
$787 billion into the economy. Does anyone remember Vice President Biden’s
promise of the summer of recovery? The promise of 500,000 thousand new jobs a
month? Did the administration lie about the law’s proposed job creation or are
they dumb founded that their jobs plan did not work? Will Keynesian Economics
put Americans to work in a global economy?

Any comments regarding the amount of work that
was outsourced to build the new, tax funded San Francisco Bridge? The steel
used to construct the roadbeds; cable strands and tower were fabricated in
China.  A quote from Roger Ferch,
with the National Steel Bridge Alliance, noted an estimate of one million man-hours was
lost to fabrication shops of China. The California DOT defends the outsource
work be saying the project saved $400 million. I guess one left hand doesn’t know
what the other left hand is doing when it comes to protecting American jobs.

    Sally,
For some reason it seems that your head is still in the sand over how “well” Obama is doing. The facts of the debt, misguided leadership (actually his own self promoting leadership) has in so many ways caused  our current critical economic situation that it will take years to recover from it all. How does Solyndra’s major meltdown at tax payers expense and Obama’s relationship to them stand up? Or his “in bed” relationship with the major unions stand up to job creation not to mention HONESTY !!!!
