Talk about being out of touch with the Amercian people! You’re off your rocker sis! And there’s no way in hell that 8 out of 10 Americans support repeal of DADT! Those 8 people are either homosexuals or flaming liberals. I find vastly more people who do not support the repeal than support it. And the only people who support it are those who have NOT served, or who are homosexuals. Senator Santorum is right. SEX has no place in the military. Next you lamestream media putzs will have pedophilia being touted as being okay! Get some help lady, you’re sick!
Just FYI Soldier,
She has to write this way, she is an activist lesbian.
Don’t blow a gasket over it.
All you have to do look at the picture to figure that out.
So, which grade was it that you dropped out of school, the 3rd or 4th? It’s hard to tell by your misspells.
You’re right. Sex has no place in the armed forces. Hetero or otherwise…
What does that have to do with allowing homosexuals in the military exactly?
Took the words right out of my mouth Soldier!
Soldiers are meant to serve, not think. So solider keep solidering and protecting my investments. (It’s amazing how much loyalty you can get from a giving a guy a tin pin and a polyester uniform.) Do your duty and otherwise STFU.
you are definitely sick
you are definitely another abnormal person who loves homos who flaunt it!!!! it is abnormal not normal. if it were normal homos could reproduce. thats a no brainer
That’s right. A no brainer, as in “Ltc has no brain.”
agree with soldier 4u. COMMON SENSE…. What have you been smokin? 8-10 Americans support DADT? Really? Don’t count me in there sis. Can I ask, are you gay, excuse me lesbian? I don’t care, it would just clear up a few things for me…..And yeah Obama threw our WWII vets under the TRAIN with his apology tour. Read a history book!!
And your grand idea about immigration will put our country even further in debt than we already are. I wouldn’t say you are a democrat at this point, I’d say you are a kook. Like any self respecting left winger, I see you have you have your hand out for “donations” to finance your charade.. “Making the World Safe for Radical Ideas”, or paving the way for idiots like you to corrupt a way of life so many people have fought and died for. Do your self a favor, shut the site down an do some reading. You DO NOT represent the majority of hard working Americans out there that are tired of paying for more federal govt. intervention.. Go get a real job .
The only way of life so many people have fought and died for is freedom. Freedom to have ideas and express them. Freedom to pursue happiness. Freedom to practice their religion. Freedom to disagree with you and live their own lives. You’ll shout as loud as you can to make sure your government doesn’t tell you what to do, while at the same time gagging another American’s right to speak out.
Truly pathetic, Sean. Crawl back in your hole now.
I totally agree with first three post! Also your comment about Gov. Perry executing 234 individuals is warped. The state of Texas and it’s laws executed those individuals not Gov. Perry.
Sally, Sally, Sally:
My dear you completely missed the point of the candidate’s responses last night! You need to first dismiss your raw emotion and engage your logical thinking!
In order to assess any of the problems we are facing logical assessments and intellectual honesty needs to supersede emotion! We all feel compassion for the plight of the immigrants and the poor of our country; but we do not serve their or the Country’s need by ignoring the facts. To advocate continuing on the same course with immigration or entitlement programs is to actually have a lack of compassion; serving only selfish ideology and condemning the less fortunate to a life of slavery.
Liberal thought is racist thought; that which looks down on the minority as less capable of succeeding looking at themselves as an intellectually superior person. Conservative thought understands the importance of self sufficiency and pride in accomplishment and that a hand-up is our obligation not a hand-out. The hand-out robs people of their individualism and self-worth.
As for our economy, we are absolutely bankrupt and for you to say otherwise simply identifies you as intellectually dishonest and a simple ideologue. Please but your blind ideology aside and help the rest of us solve the very serious problems we are facing.
Finally, you may continue to run from this, but these candidate’s positions are mainstream yours are not; and the Tea Party – they are ordinary everyday citizens; those whom have made and will continue to make this country great!
ATS
Regarding your comments on the debate last night – ARE YOU NUTS???????
Dear ATS, which planet are you currently on? I am not sure what BS you are listening too but you are the one currently out of touch with the mainstream. Maybe you are stuck in a time warp, sounds like you are speaking from the 50s. Bet you wish Black people didn’t have the right to vote, don’t you?
Seriously, your comments are absurd. Don’t put words in people’s mouths and don’t assume that just because someone has a different point of view than you that they are automatically a racist, homophobe, or otherwise. ATS made some very good, logical points which the likes of you need to start paying attention to because if our country stays on the track that it’s on, even the likes of you will not like what we end up with one day soon.
so obviously since ATS is a conservative, he is stuck in the 50′s and he is a racist. wow dumb aS$ liberal. F%#K you ProgressivesForever
I can only express how pleased I am personally at the GOP being out of touch. Sally, you are keen and absolutely RIGHT! The GOP embraces the Christian Taliban at their own peril. Haven’t they tried the “Jesus Party” crap already and found themselves fading further and further out of view of the American majority? I mean, being born gay is not a choice. Choosing a religion and choosing to be an ignorant bigot…now those are choices!
The salivating over Mr. Obama’s popularity? What a fragile hope. A hope that America will fail. The GOP has become the domestic terrorists they feared for so long.

What you saw last night was the American majority. There was no hope that American will fail. Only a hope that we return to American core values. Also, of knowing right from wrong, self sufficiency, continuing as a people with
a belief in God, and a future without the chaos, bias, and destruction this administration has wreaked.
Which “core values” are described in the Constitution? I don’t remember the belief in God being mentioned, or any specific section dedicated to “core values.”
Blah Blah Blah. If you are for self sufficiency, then don’t call the police or the fire dept. don’t drive on our roads, don’t use our utilities and go educate yourself (sounds like you tried and failed).
You are the perfect definition of the word “lie”. That’s the problem with Obama, he has been sleeping to easily over the last three years. The American people, your kind included, are sick and tired of their president and it’s all but over for him. The best strategy for Obama is to bow out of the next race and that in itself would be the best move for America and the economy. Hell, he might even save face while doing it.
It would seem that part of the training process for being a community organizer is to create your own little world in which everything is as one wants it to be – and the opposition is always wrong. We are broke! When over 40% of any entities, whether it be a family, a business, or a government, income is devoted to interests payments that entity is in trouble. I am wondering just how you missed that apology tour because the rest of us seen it. Our President went out on a groveling tour apologizing to nations that rely on us for their survival. The left has gone daft!
Cite one instance where the President apologized for this country. State the full quote because he never has. I’ll be waiting an eternity for your answer.
You must be one of those who can’t be bothered to watch the news and listen to Obama’s speeches. Just look here http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=32296 The quotes are even cited. I guess you also missed the picture of his behind shining as he bowed to the Saudi king.
1. Republicans need to remember Barry Goldwater, who stated “they don’t have to be straight to shoot straight”. Historically, the Spartans were one of the most effective forces of their time — and encouraged gay behavior (as did most Greeks of the time). The objections to gays are pretty similar to the earlier objections to women or blacks in the military. The real standard should be the old “don’t fraternize” and “you are ONE team” rule.
2. The US has limited immigration at times when there was high unemployment, so yes, limiting legal immigration has some value. As for illegal immigration, most college students are 18 or over and you can apply for naturalization at 18, so allowing illegals makes no sense, let alone providing scholarships, etc. If they are naturalized, they are citizens and I don’t care where they came from. Failure to enforce the borders becasue some employers want cheap labor that they don’t have to observe OSHA, tax laws, etc with is NEVER the right thing. One doesn’t need walled borders if one would apply serious penalties for illegal HIRING, and seriously use tools like e-verify.
3. Encoraging groups to feel they are uniquely priveleged, discriminated against or culturally “special” results in pitting one group against another — the last thing the US needs is to imitate Bosnia or even Ireland. Yes, CA has a Spanish history. It included slaughter of most of it’s native Indians. Mexico only owned CA briefly — and historically Russia owned part of it as well. If one is going to teach history, teach it ALL, rather than focusing on who was/wasn’t gay and /or one particular ethnic group.
One does rather wish for a candidate who doesn’t pander to an extreme group. However, haven’t seen it in the last 30 or so years I’ve been voting, so I’m not holding my breath.
reagan raised taxes, but the net net was a tax cut when the increases were applied to all the cuts he made…you belong right up on that stage, with all the other truth-benders…remember glass houses…
If you think that our nation is not bankrupt, you’re obviously working with a unique set of accounting principles. Our liabilities far outweigh our assets. Our entitlement programs are not sustainable. Obamacare will have the unplanned effect of rationing care.
Rationing is a key (unwritten ) component of Obamacare…..It’s mathimatically impossible to add 30-40 million people to the system without an increase in the number of health care providers and not end up rationing care
This piece of writing is not journalism. Rather, it is from a person named Sally who appears to enjoy writing, and who seems to see life in America from one angle only. And perhaps she gets an income for it. Thanks for sharing, but no thanks.
Aaaa, spoken like a true flaming democratic liberal- No ma’am, it appears obvious to anyone who reads your comments that it is YOU who is completely out of touch with the views of the American People (and reality). Let me guess, you also think Obama is doing a great job as the supreme socialist president of this country and that our country is better off today than it was four years ago…. Wake up and smell the coffee lady ( pretty soon Obama will be taxing you on that as well no doubt….)
Sally,
The vast majority of Americans support this path to citizenship for illegal aliens – citizenship in their home countries via I-5 to Tijuana, I-35 to Nueava Loredo, Aer Lingus to Ireland, China Air to Beijing, KAL to Seoul, etc.
Since you pretend otherwise, I have to ask, why do you have so much antipithy towards Americans?
Sally, you must not be watching Ron Paul and understanding that he is in touch with everybody in this country. He follows our founders message of liberty while keeping strong defenses and not meddling in others affairs around the world. I’m saying this because you left him in the category of the rest of the GOP field as he is an especially different candidate that is the origin of tea party thinking and I believe you should have separated him in your article.
YOU are completely wrong and a big part of what is wrong with this country today. I’m 62 years old, and wise and well read enough to know. Those who don’t know history or doomed to repeat it! You have an agenda, but don’t have a clue!

Do your homework before you open your mouth and call someone a liar
I want to thank you for your comments. It is always better to have such a clear voice when discussing politics. I certainly know where you stand. It also makes it clear that our educational system has failed you. You do not understand history or have a meaningful grasp of the world as it really is. This comes from being coddled and brainwashed by those who are “teachers”. After spending several years living in the middle east, including Pakistan, I gained insight into what cultural brainwashing can do to Islamic children. The same can be said for such as yourself, who have been fed a constant diet of lies and distortions. The American people can be fooled some of the time, but not all of the time. I also believe America deserves the government it gets. In the case of the last election, Americans voted for corruption and the free ride. Guess what, the free ride is over. Whoever gets elected in 2012, will have to take on the responsibility of recovery or dismal failure. What happens when there is no money for all the freebies?
You are just another liberal clone, without an original thought or the ability to think for yourself.
I am sure your friends and relatives at Code Pink will come to your rescue.
All I can say is wow, I have never seen a columnist more out of touch with mainstream America. Gonna suck for you come 11/6/12.
If Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry represent “mainstream America,” then America is in way more trouble than any economic solution can resolve.
Like my daddy used to say, “The position of the Left is ‘don’t confuse me with the facts’”. Why? Because facts obviously don’t matter to liberals. You call these lies?
1. Oh, yes, it was an “apology tour”. What do YOU call apologizing for what Obama called American belligerence of the past?
2. We are essentially bankrupt, somewhat the fault of Republicans but overwhelming the doing of the policies of the Left, particulary under Obama and the Pelosi/Reid congress. That we are propped up by our ability to print money and forestall the full implications of shameless, irresponsible spending does not allow anyone who is not deluded to claim we are not bankrupt.
3. I am not passing judgement on Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. However, your assertion that 80% of Americans want it repealed is patently ridiculous.
4. There is overwhelming evidence that health care for older Americans will be less available (rationed) under Obamacare. You are ludicrous to assert otherwise.
5. Governor Perry does not execute capital criminals. The laws and courts of Texas do. You thinly veiled “most of whom were guilty” comment stands out as a prime example of liberal warping of the facts and logic.
Make a VALID argument, Ms. Kohn, if you can…
Read my book “The Danger of Progressive Liberalism”, available on my website charlesgrossbooks.com and on amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com and elsewhere. Therein you have the opportunity to learn some facts.
Sincerely,
Charles Gross
Charles, you wrote a book, LOL!! Is it a coloring book, wait no, because your just another fear mongering conservative with a closed and inoperative mind. Why don’t you get the hell out of the country that patriots and liberals like Thomas Jefferson and james Madison founded. My ancestors left Europe to get away from people like you.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha……….
Sorry. I just think it’s cute to call Thomas Jefferson a liberal, as if 18th century classical liberalism is the same as the liberalism of the modern Democratic party.
Thomas Jefferson fought against the very same things (national banks, unnecessary war, tax increases, and of course, national debt) that modern democrats (and many “republicans”) now promote with their policies and rhetoric.
Good for you Antonio! As a history major, I’ll vouch for that too.
After reading your commentary to the Republican debate last night, your laundry list of the alleged “lies” that were told did nothing to support the merits of your argument. On the contrary, it cast your entire writing into the category of literary drivel… How about the next time you write try employing deductive reasoning based on soundly researched facts to support your ideas? Only then might there be the basis for a worthwhile discussion. This is nothing more than emotional rambling. Shame on FOX for subjecting us to such a nonsensical piece.
Sally,
I feel sorry for u. In reality u r out of touch. what can I say? There is nothing wrong for u to like mr. Obama but I do not want another four years of him. He may be good for u. U probably like dependency on Gov. Keep paying unemployed for ever. Spend and no other ideas. I don’t think I can write everything here but ‘ Sally, I hope u sleep better”.
Does your mommie know that you’re up past 9?
I am a small business owner, college educated, mother of two and a daughter of two people who immigrated to this country legally. I really am frustrated to read this kind of article, just as I was when Juan Williams tried the same angle. Bottom line is people don’t like what is going on and quite frankly it brings tears to my eyes to see what the President has enacted and it trying to push. If you can’t see that the current President is COMPLETELY out of touch with the American people than I believe you are reading about and observing another country and quite frankly not speaking the citizens of this country. I didn’t feel that the soldier that spoke was being insulted by Mr. Santorum. What he did say when speaking that sex did not have a place in the militarywas that it applied to both heterosexual and homosexual. You can’t say heterosexuals can do whatever they please because it simply isn’t true..depending on rank you can’t even hang out with certain officers off duty. The fact that many people are sick and tired of hearing the temper tantrum of the homosexual side can’t be accepted. No people who are fighting for our country should be distracted with this matter which should be completely PRIVATE. Secondly, what the candidates were saying about illegal immigration ..yes please try to say ILLEGAL is that we are providing too many magnets for these people to come. Why can’t they do it the legal way as my parents did??? sacrficing coming here with barely anything and learned the language more and worked long hours.
Thirdly, I completely believe that Mr. Cain would not have received the adequate care in time with the ridiculous notion of Obamacare. Have you ever spoken to a Canadian? They will tell you that basically unless you have the money you will not receive the adequate care in time because of the back log. By the way use common sense, do you think we will receive an inundation of medical doctors because of Obamacare? Let’s see, please spend $100,000 or more for med school and put in countless hours in residency and internships and then please accept the 24 cents for every dollar you earned because the government has decided that the full $1 you bill is too much. We will end up with doctors working as employees for hospitals and private practice will be rare.
I ask that you interview real citizens Ms. Kohn….Please…because it is evident that you just don’t have clue.
So apparently all those halls are filled with shills when he speaks? Who in hell do you think you are that you say this President is out of touch with the people? 70% want taxes on the rich to be higher? Just because you say something, doesn’t make it true. This country is a democracy and in 2008 HE won! So quit being a disloyal American by demaning him. If you don’t like him, then vote against him in 2012. Until that, take a tip from your druggie, Rush and shut the hell up.
Wow…someone is quite sensitive today. I’m actually not sure if you were replying to my email because I didn’t even say anything about taxes. What I was referring to was Obamacare, which won’t work in this kind of economy we are in. Not sure of the 70%, that may be true but his approval ratings also show I’m not the only one not happy with what is going on. By the way what I’m saying is an opinion just like yours so before you tell to someone to shut the *** up try making a valid argument. Hope your day gets better.
By the way, it is spelled d-e-m-e-a-n-i-n-g. I bet you totally respected Bush as the president, right?
where the hell are you getting are your statistical information, because it is really misguided. part of being an american is not always agreeing with the political american; how our country was formed. so to say that disagreeing with the president is being a disloyal american is a total dumb aS$ thing to say which really fits you ProgressivesForever.
Sally, fact check yourself on military regulations. I suggest you read AR 600-20 section 4-14, PAM 600-35 and article 125 UCMJ.
I agree with the majority of the comments, you are short a few brains. You must be there not on talent but on who you know
Sally:
I thank God that I live in a country where one-sided, closed-minded people like yourself can write columns and freely mislead people. It is really one of the things that makes this country great. You should have every right to push your liberal agenda and I pray that you will always have that opportunity. By the way, like it or not, the next President WILL come from this group. You are a smart woman. I hope you are paying attention.
Steve in Indy
Dear Steve in Indy. Please get a brain, you are delusional.
Seriously, why are you so angry? Do you realize that you have posted nasty, contentless comments all throughout this post? You have said nothing of merit or worth, only name-called and bullied. You are not helping your cause at all because noone wants to communicate with someone who is rude and nasty. Say something civil or go play somewhere else please.
Seriously, your on twitter begging for help in support of your biased, ungrounded, non-researched oped. I suggest that you engage your brain before operating the mouth. The only thing you had correct in your oped piece was the part about Regan’s tax increases. However you left the pertinent facts of those tax increases. Namely that the increases where marginal and had little to no negative impact on the top 10 %. Of which are the ones who generate national wealth and create jobs.
Sally,
Where do you get your statistics?
Excellent oped Sally. Keep up the good work! This was the first article I read on FoxNews site today and I had to check to see if I was in fact on the Fox site. Couldn’t believe they would publish an opposing viewpoint like yours. Don’t let the turkeys get you down – the reason for the harsh reactions here is that the truth REALLY hurts. They know in their hearts that you make solid points, backed up with facts. And that is really annoying to them. Carry on.
Reagan supported unions?? The vast majority of Americans support a path to citizenship for illegals (amnesty)?? What have you been smokin’??
Sally,
As my daddy used to say, “the favorite position of the Left is ‘don’t confuse the issue with facts’”. Why? Typical liberals hold the truth to be irrelevant when it conflicts with their vision of la-la-land. The lies you so incredibly describe:
1. Apology tour is almost a kind description of what Obama did around the world. What do you call apologizing for the arrogance of previous American leaders?
2. Not backrupt? Are you lost? It is only because we can print money and the dollar is still the global trading currency that we can forestall the disastrous consequences of Obamanomics.
3. I’m not commenting on the validity of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, but for you to erroneously state that 80% of Americans want it repealed is preposterous.
4. Governor Perry cannot execute any capital criminal. That is the decision of the laws and courts of Texas. Don’t be ridiculous. Your thinly veiled “mostly guilty” comment is a great example of liberal distortion.
5. Your statement that our corporate tax rate is among the lowest in the world is an outright falsehood. Only a very few countries tax companies at a rate higher than our 35% federal and around 12% state rates.
6. There is overwhelming evidence that treatment for serious illnesses will be less available (rationed) for senior citizens under Obamacare.
Do your homework and quit making crap up. Your commentary is pathetic.
Charles Gross, author of The Danger of Progressive Liberalism
Oh my…you keep thinking that way honey…you and obama and we will succeed and get a new president in there in 2012!
Hey Sally, you may want to check your facts so you can at least attempt to hide your ignorance. Regarding the statement: “…something that would come as quite a shock to heterosexuals in the armed forces, who are free to have whatever relationships they please.” Really? Adultery, fraternization, and unprofessional relationships are all punishable under the UCMJ. So no, members of the armed services (regardless of rank, gender, or sexual orientation) are not ”free to have whatever relationship they please.”
It ‘s nice to see that you are not one of the many “journalist” who inject thier own politics into thier supposedly truthful and unbiased reporting. And I am glad to see that you are so in tune with what “mainstream American voters” opinions really are. It sounds very obvious to me (since I unlike you cannot speak for everyone else) that the Rebublican candidates are out of touch with “you”. You don’t know what ”I” believe unless you ask me. Quit basing your articles on how 127 people responded to some poll.
You are the most stupid, out of facts person that I’ve known in my life!!!! Go get your information straight becauseyour hole opinion is wrong.
Martyb spanked you hard on Foxnews.com
No apology tour-liar, not bankrupt -liar, 80% support repeal od dadt-liar, yo u are either a liar or an idiot- I’ll go with idiot
@Progressive4ever -Quote” America has often been an Arrogant Nation”April 2009 London,Ankara, Turkey April 2009–Get a fkn clue watch it all on youtube for exact dates and qutes
I’m always glad to read articles like this one………..it confirms to me that it will not be impossible for the Republicans to win next fall. Thanks….
Ms. Kohn:
Are you really surprised that your article on the Fox News web site resulted in more ”hateful comments than likes”? Let’s see: A radical lesbian with a far left agenda, who is a self described community organizer and political commentator (code words for never really having a real job), comments on the debate of possible Republican candidates for president using her wit and intelligence to condescendlingly: patronize; distort lie; mislead; mistate; malign; slander; and otherwise use her intellecutal arrogance in an attempt to convince people that these candidates are evil and “out of touch…with the mainstream American voters”.
Wow, who is the one out of touch. Message to Sally: Did you notice the results of the 2010 election?!!!
I really loved the “Lies” section of your article. 1) President Obama’s “Apology Tour” was a lie? How about the President’s statement made in an interview to ”Al Arabiya” wherein he said that “We sometimes make mistakes. We are not perfect.” Is that not an apology?! There are many other examples. 2) Governor Johnson’s statement about our nation being in bankruptcy might, be at present, a slight exaggeration, but when our government is borrowing 40 cents of every dollar spent — that kind of spending can only lead to insolvency. 3) Herman Cain’s claim that his cure would not have happened with ”Obama Care” is deabatable, but certainly not a lie. Since most provisions do not become effective for a few more years, I do not beleive that anyone can predict the outcomes with a case like Mr. Cain. However, the experience with government health care systems in other countries gives Mr. Cain’s assertions much credence. 4) Of course your biggest lie involves your assertion that Governor Perry (and I find it interesting that you write ”President” Obama but use “Mr.” Perry instead of using his title) lies when he said that we have the highest corporate tax rate. Well, I think Governor Perry was almost accurante and a lot closer to the truth than your lie about us having one of the lowest. According to actual statistics (OECD Tax Database and Citi Investment Research and Analysis) as reported not only in this country but others (read the February, 2011 article about in in the Guardian) the US corporate tax rate (39.2%) is almost the highest in the world second only to Japan (39.5%). But just barely! Interesting the authority you cite about the Corporate tax rate as a percentage to GDP as written in the “New York Times” by Bruce Bartlett, whose expertise and educational background is in history, and has absolutely no training or education as an economist. AND, he was comparing “apples and oranges”. Of course relying on a “nut with an agenda” who has also been quoted in the “New York Times” as saying that : “Rick Perry is an idiot, and I don’t think anybody would disagree with that” — Yes, what a realiable and objective source for your article.
However, your biggest, most slanderous and misleading comment in your entire article you saved near the end for Governor Perry in the “back-handed” compliment in reference to immigration commenting that: “The man has exectued 234 mostly guility indviduals”. WHAT, as someone who has (allegedly) a law degree (Question: have you ever passed a bar exam and actually practiced law?) to say that these individuals were “mostly guilty” and that Perry had exectued them is an astounding lie and misrepresentation and you damn well know it! Every person who was exectued in Texas was tried and convicted by the trial courts in Texas, they all appealed and every one appealed, or had the oppertunity to appeal, to the Supreme Court of the United States. Governor Parry did certainly not exectue them — the crimes (ie: murders) that these inviduals commited such that they were adjudged by the citizens of that state to be guilty, and then further adjudged by these citizens to be exectued. So, how were they “mostly guilty” (you do not cite one instance of any of these people who were executed as being innocent), and how did Governor Perry execute them? Therefore, this statement you made was a double lie: Perry did not exectue them — they were tried and convicted, sentenced and executed by the courts in Texas with every constitutional safeguard guaranteed our citizens. Also, not one of the individuals executed (when Perry was Governor) has ever been shown to be innocent! So much for the “many”.
I do find it interesting in your article that you do not mention that you are a longtime fierce advociate for the abolishment of capital punishment (Another question: Did you go to Texas to protest the execution of Lawrence Brewer for the hate crime truck dragging murder of James Byrd, Jr.?). Well, not relevant — right?!!!
Ms. Kohn you are the worst kind of hypocrite. Accusing others of lying while spouting lies yourself in order to demean and disparage the ones with whom you disagree.
People like you who have an agenda that unfortuantely, gets a platform and then thinks that they are smarter than the rest of us. You seem to have a good education, and think that because you have a certain intellectual capacity, that the rest of us are cretins for not believeing in your causes or thinking like you. I am pretty smart myself (borrowing that great line from Wilford Brimley in the movie “Absence of Malice”), I am a lawyer graduating Summa Cum Laude from a top urban law school. And I think that your arrogant, egotistical and elitist views are not mainstream — they are not shared by the vast majority of Americans, and thank God — never will be!
Finally, I do not think President Obama slept well last night or any night lately. The economy is in such poor shape after being slammed by his radical agenda, that he knows his time in the White grows shorter and shorter. ”Hope and Change” have morphed to: HOPE the election in 2012 comes soon enough that are country can CHANGE the economy so that this nightmare of a presidency ends. Even the source you use for your “fact checking” at the Washington Post ( Glenn Kessler) says in his fact check article: “In fact, the number opf overall jobs has declined by 1.9 million since Obama’s stimulus bill was passed into law more than two years ago. Moreover, Obama is on track to have the worst job record of any U.S. president since World War II. He may even become the first president in the modern era with no net jobs created during his first term — which, by any stretch of the imagination, is a stunning statistic.”
Maybe President Obama is sleeping too much during the day too!!!
Have a wonderful day Ms. Kohn. Do they ever let you back in Allentown, PA?!
Sincerely,
John
As a conservative, nay Neanderthal, republican, I am in full agreement with your critique of the candidates apparent political death wishes, viz. Their positions on immigration and gays in the military. What ever happened to “compassionate conservatism”?
Wow. …and do you really believe our ‘holier than thou’, thoroughly inept, and arrogant President in actually IN touch with the people? Even my 80 year old mother – who WAS staunchly Democrat and voted for Obomba in ’08 – thinks he is so out of touch and incompetent that she vows to never vote for another Democrat for the rest of her life! Even Hilary would have been better than this arrogant idealist. Oh and btw – now that I know you are a flaming liberal MSNBC er who is our of her head on the Obama kool-aid, I’ll never read an opinion posted by you on Fox or anywhere else. Why? …lets just say you are out of touch…
I was going to comment at length but many of my friends below have all made my points quite well. I must say, though, that I do not understand how you have been able to rise to the ranks of having your pieces published in print, online, or otherwise. They lack truth and harbor an obvious bias. Hopefully anyone who reads your pieces does their homework so that they understand the viewpoint from which you write and can, therefore, understand your lack of understanding of the everyday American and where they stand on these issues.
I don’t know why I’m commenting on your extremely opinionated and very false interpretations of the GOP candidates……btw, what mental institution did you just
just get discharged from…..and is in our solar system???
Well as Usual, FOX NEWS (LIES!) They report Romney as the said “Winner” Even Charlie Sheen does not have that Status. I wonder how much Sally was Paid to LIE for Fox News? For even Fox’s OWN GOOGLE POLE showed “RON PAUL” was the WINNER.
These People that continue the chant of “FOUR MORE YEARS” They want their “Man” in their to continue the Drag on the American People. But in fact, Ron Paul wants government out of our lives completely, out of the world politics which would drop terrorism because our Soldiers would not be in their Holy Places.
Yet Fox continues to spread their Lies. And Sally here is just yet another Puppet.
Sally, Jesus said that Satan was the Father of the Lie, So are YOU his Daughter?

Saw you many time and all the remarks about the apology tour Obama made is true I saw him stooping and bowing to leader in the Arabs world, and in Europy also so where is the lie? It yours , the hacks like you who defend this corrupt adminstration.
You column asks for people to “argue with you” about the above article. Well, when you present the true facts/percentages/ratios you can have a debate/argument. I don’t know where you heard that most Americans welcome a path to citizenship, if that were true, the Dream Act would have passed. I don’t know where you heard that most Americans support repeal of DADT, otherwise it wouldn’t have taken so long to be pushed through. Your article is writtent with your heart and not the facts.
I read your comments and I disagree with almost everything your wrote.
I don’t know about the millions of other Americans but noone asked my opinion about dont ask dont tell. And you are wrong about sex in the military there are strict rule against it. They also didn’t ask the majority of Americans how they feel about Gay Marriage that’s why there’s a Republican in District 9 in NYC now. Just because you Blog it and main stream media is immoral and bias doesn’t mean that it is so. There are plenty of Americans who believe in their Bibles, Torahs, Quran’s and many other religions that recognixe a Great creator and acknowledge there are reprocussions for immoral behaviors, personal and social. We all pay. This is not a new movement. This topic is older than the written scriptures.
