Sally, you’re a saint. Only a saint could put up with this crap with so much grace. I hope they pay you lots of money for this. You earn it.
Thanks, Mary.
I agree wholeheartedly that claiming that BHO et al have LOWERED our deficit and debt is “silly”.
In fact, it is so indefensibly wrong I marvel at the restraint shown in simply labeling your claim “silly”!
Two points:
1) Gregg Garrett possibly conflated spending cuts with a reduction in the deficit. But that is not what you said. Your reference was clearly to spending cuts. This happens when you’re more intent on getting in your talking points than listening carefully to your guest. Also, his constant interruptions reminded me of Bret Baier’s interview with the president.
2) If Mr. Garrett would have been more courteous he would have said, “What spending cuts?” Thereby giving you a chance to enumerate some of the cuts he has made as referenced in the following link:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/docs/fiscal_record.pdf
But instead he chose to demean you with the very classless “You’re being silly.”
