In which Imus apparently tries to make a point about Egyptians heckling Sec. Clinton though his own demonstration of heckling against me:

Imus…a jerk I won’t waste precious time on again.

  2. Roy reynolds says:

You were great under fire Sally, keep up the good work.

  3. Don says:

Face it. You assumed the story was false because it “came from Drudge”. Anyone who pays attention knows that Drudge is an aggregator who links to stories. The vast majority of them are from what you would probably think are legitimate sources. You demonstrated you have no clue what the DrudgeReport is and simply parroted back what you have heard others say about it.

If you want to be a credible commentator, you needs to expand your knowledge of the many sources of news and opinions. You need to have YOUR OWN opinion, based on your own knowledge. Failing that, people will assume you are just some Democrat hack, spewing talking points.

  4. jb says:

Very unprofessional to be a commentator and strategist without researching the opposition. The misplaced attack on Drudge proves ignorance and sounds childish.

  5. Orlando Eagle says:

You got OWNED for the lying hypocrite that you and your leftists buddies are.

  6. Rock Com says:

How does it feel to be bitch-slapped ?

    Bwahahahahahahahaha….

  7. LA Sunset says:

You made your own mistakes on this. No one is to blame but yourself. But as Progressives are often apt to do, you will deflect it back on Imus.

    • steven says:

WOW…… What a TRUE bimbo. In her OWN article she shows in print what an oxymoron this group is. This “group” would be “da dumb administration” which is headed up by the youngest and DUMBEST president this country has ever seen and the wannabe’s like good ol silly sally. They follow each other like ants at picnic. that try to steal your food.
In her first paragraph she speaks of how her “daddy” or grand daddy created a company, was able to expand and yadie, yadie and some more yadie. Some of that yadie in the first paragraph was how the government then put all these roads in to connect the world at no expense to her “daddy” or grand daddy. This was the bimbo moment and a brain fart at the same time, wherein she neglected to state that a company, any company, in fact ALL companies paid taxes. Both state and federal. Those dollars that are sent to the state and fed’s is for the purpose of infra structure like roads, cops, fireman, public schools courts and the salaries of all those idiots that we vote into office. He HELP pay for those roads just like EVERY other company that was in business and paid taxes. What a bimbo……….
Then in her second paragraph she suddenly remembers how things REALLY work. Silly, silly sally says silly silly things………. better than Saturday NIght Live

  8. Sally – I like your commentaries and insights, even though I am to the right of you. You are always very thorough in your analyses when I listen to you, which strikes as me as a bit strange that you seemed unclear that the DrudgeReport is actually an aggregate news website which links to everyone from WorldNetDaily (Right) to the MSNBC.com (Left)….

  9. Earnie 964 says:

Pragmatic Radical ? Another assault on the English language. An obvious public school graduate.

  10. Deano says:

You did do OK under fire but ALL newsites/journalists tilt one way or the other, but you showed liberal bias by doubting the accuracy of the story because it came from Drudge. Check with your NYT journalists friends. I have read a number of them admit that Drudge is one of the first sites they check out on a daily basis.

  11. William says:

Amelia Earhart crashed too. Hang in there and stick with Fox. It will help your credibility and people won’t have trouble finding you. Does anyone else think you resemble Amelia?

  12. Ed says:

You deserved exactly what you got. Drudge’s record, while not spotless, is a lot better than those of your preferred outlets, including MSNBC. Bashing him seems to be the progressive’s default position, but he’s been right infinitely more times than he’s been wrong. Remember the story about the infamous blue dress? You libs all called that a smear job, but he had the story nailed. I’m no Imus fan, but he was perfectly justified in calling you out on your smart-ass remark and arrogant attitude. At that, you got treated better on FBN than conservatives do on MSNBC.

  13. Mike Jackson says:

Imus completely pointed out your bias. It was so obvious to everyone. You assumed the story was incorrect because the story came from Drudge. He totally busted you. You totally deserved it. You did look like a buffoon and it was your totally your fault, not Imus’s fault. Busted. You should question the BS that comes from the New York Times just as much as you question Drudge, but you can’t do that because you are a buffoon.

  14. nckate11 says:

You DID look like a buffoon. How in the world do you NOT KNOW what The Drudge Report is? Heck, I’m not on TV or other media, and live in the boonies, and I know what Drudge is. Man, that was embarrassing to watch. I was embarrassed for you – for a millisecond. Then was glad it happened to a smug intolerant progressive like you.

  15. nckate11 says:

And you call that heckling? Is calling out hypocrisy the same as heckling? I think not. But I guess you do, you lily-livered, thin-skinned dumbhead. How in the world did you get into the media? SMDH.

  16. S Russell says:

He is right. Even those on the left are getting tired of the bull that lefts like you are saying daily. Your running out of time.

  17. Gary says:

Regardless of whether you or Imus is the better person, when you go on his show you know what you are getting into and what might happen. Attacking and being rude to guests is his trademark. The worst thing you can do is give him any attention; ignoring him hurts him worse. Blow it off and give it the consideration it deserves.
Don’t be afraid to go back on. That would just validate his opinion of you.Be cool.

  18. James says:

It’s amazing…you were actually there, making a fool of yourself and you act like you don’t know what happened. Typical lib though, woe is me.

  19. Dave Hansen says:

I could care less who supposedly paved the way before me Maybe they paved the way and maybe they didn’t. The point here is that the Federal Government does NOT deserve ANY credit for individual success in business and certainly does NOT deserve more and more taxes as some form of back taxes. The Federal Government should be a small and very limited entity – not a HUGE controlling giant that saps the profits from everyone and everything it touches as Obama wants and Sally seems to want as well. Sally seems to be suggesting that if we just sap more profits from business owners in taxes then those same business owners will then be even more motivated to expand and grow – which is simply insane. What business owners will do if they are taxed more is layoff and cut back – exactly what they are doing today under “tax man” Obama. If you want business to grow and add jobs then get out of the way – let them keep their profits and use those profits to add more jobs for middle class Americans. Pretty simple really – unless you are a socialist like Obama.

  20. Richard says:

“We succeed because of our individual initiative but also because of the public investments that help springboard that success. Don’t believe me? Then go start a business in Pakistan or Russia.”

You forget a crucial factor. After supplying what it does Govt butts out, or used to, unlike in Pakistan or Russia. The more Government butts in the harder the business. And that’s what Obama is doing. That’s the crucial point.

  21. josh says:

You proved beyond a shadow of a doubt how moronic Liberals are. Drudge linked to a Reuters story you pathetic pseudo intellectual excuse for a commentator. You should be working for PBS, something that is taxpayer funded, uninformed, and more deserving of your low skill level. Did you really say “I have much more faith in the NYT”, only the most left leaning liberal rag in the country. Fox must be desperate to have the otherside on TV, otherwise….why would they hire a “Buffoon” such as you ……uugghhhhhh!!!!!

  22. Laura says:

I was embarrassed by Imus’s behavior toward you. I think he misjudged who he was talking to and went off when he didn’t get the expected sycophantic response from you he expects from his staff. He tried to cover it up by blasting you, but really, he was completely off.

I think he’s slipping. Before Fox, his show on MSNBC and RFD was full of intelligent, dynamic individuals. He used to be a great interviewer and managed to let people share their knowledge no matter what their bias. Now, he looks like a hack. His behavior toward you finally convinced me to stop watching his show altogether. Too bad, it USED to be a great show.

  23. joe says:

    Sally, you’re ignorant.

  24. Bud Thibodaux says:

Sally ~ You are a baffoon. Who pays the taxes so our country can survive. Who inturn pay the workers so we can build the infrastructure, roads and bridges. Government can’t survive with out our taxes. You are so left that you are crooked. Obama is not qualified to be president and you need to get a life other than a leftest loon.Your father worked for what he had and the government just took his taxes. If we all stop paying taxes congress would die a slow death. as would the intire country. The taxes we pay don’t belong to our congressmans, but you know it the way they spend it.

  25. Bob Youker says:

By Sally’s logic every American should be a business success because government makes it easy and hard work and long hours are not important. Both you and Obama know nothing about what it takes to run a business especially when a bureaucrat comes into your office and says you don’t have the right signs on the wall for lunch hours!!!! Bob

  26. Dennis says:

Sally, you are conveniently leaving out that people who get their income mostly from investments had to first make the money for investments from “earned income” and paid the same rate as any American who pays taxes on earned income. To tax them again on the profits of the money they already paid “earned income” rates is ludicrous and unAmerican

  27. Dick says:

I am a regular Don Imus listener. He occasionally can be a grouchy old cur, but that is part of his odd charm.
Imus’s performance with Ms. Kohn was disgraceful, the worst behavior I’ve ever seen from him.
Imus interrupted Kohn at the start of the interview and proceeded to shout over her. He then pulled the cowardly trick of lecturing Kohn for talking over him. Terrible. I get why Kohn apologized, presumably to make Imus look unreasonable, but I don’t think it worked. Should have pointed-out his boorish behavior right there. You have to stand-up to bullies.

Kohn certainly did NOT unreasonably attack the Drudge web site’s credibility. Drudge has a mixed reputation, a grain-of-salt attitude is par for the course.

Kohn had one opportunity to give an extended answer, the part about the right-wing’s perpensity for anti-muslim conspiracy theories. The fact that Kohn was 50 IQ points over Imus’s head on this issue enraged him. I am an obsessive student of the middle east, and the FOX NEWS theory that Obama favored the Muslim Brotherhood over the secularists is preposterous. Topped only by the theory that the people throwing tomatoes at Clinton’s motorcaid were doing so to vent frustration at U.S. support for the Muslim Brotherhood. Most Egyptians are mad about U.S. past support for dictators.

To digress, Imus earlier had on a Middle East “expert” on before Kohn to propogate the right wing, anti-muslim theories mentioned above. Walid Phares is a charlatan who has carved-out a career pandering to conspiracy theorists.

  28. Kay says:

Funny how he says he’s not like the others on Fox and then shows how he’s exactly like the others on Fox. Stay off this show-he’s Crankshaft with a microphone.

  29. Leecal says:

Imus has gotten so sensitive lately ?? He was trying to talk over Kohn.

I thought Imus has more than a lick of sense left, but poor guy says Drudge is a totally reliable news source.
Imus seems a little too thin-skinned, a little too sensitive.

  30. Nice job under difficult conditions. He’s a rude guy.

  31. Thom says:

If Sally is arguing that the Egyptians should be able to vote freely, but not protest freely against the Clinton motorcade, I’m confused which type of liberal democracy Kohn was referencing. They can vote freely but not speak freely?
Nice job on the bias slip. It would be nice if you would be honest about it, and it wouldn’t turn into a Drudge story.
