As one of the few liberal who can counter a conservative viewpoint with an intelligent response it was disappointing your dismissive response to Don Imus this AM when he mentioned a story which appeared on Drudge.
For someone who should know better, you offered the Democratic “party line” about Drudge, the one online site with the greatest audience. So, let me give you an assist.
First, Drudge does offer hard hitting and most often conservative leaning headlines. But what Drudge does NOT do is directly report any news….only provide the link to where a story appears. Which is exactly what Imus referenced….a story which appeared on Reuters.
I am sure you will find news “reports” on Media Matters more to your liking, as nary a one
would be critical of liberal or Obama positions.
What you seem to fail (or avoid) is the distinction between MM and DR…Media Matters is
solely a pipe organ of the Democratic Party…along with MoveOn.org. Neither offers any
broad listing of media sources.
However Drudge does….every time you open its link you will find a list of more than 100 links
of media sources (including the many liberal ones) where is finds the headlines you dismiss.
You may not like Drudge….but at least acknowledge what Drudge provides….something
neither of the sites I am sure you favor do.

Why is it that all G. Dems(government democrats) are such hateful meanspirited humans with no redeeming qualities. Every argument you make is so dishonest and convoluted. Your interpetation of what obama and liz warren says about business people is not only insulting but untrue. But truth is a rare commodity from you and your ilk. Obama wants to change this country from what the founders invisioned, a vibrant democracy, with free markets, absolute property rights, freedom and liberty. Obama wants european socialism. I suggest you re-read ‘Animal Farm’. You G Dems would sell out this country for a free pumpkin.
The lunatic libs STILL don’t understand that “outsourcing” can mean within our borders, “offshoring” is the proper term for jobs going overseas – for example, like the thousands of medical division jobs that Obama’s “job advisor,” the CEO of General Electric sent over to China. Bottom line, if Maobama created a more “friendly” business environment here in the U.S., jobs would stay here. The CEO of 3M Corp put it succinctly: “Obama is an economic dunce. CEO’s are accountable to the shareholders and have to do what’s best for them and the company’s bottom line. ” He also said “We would love to keep the jobs here, but Canada and Mexico, for example are much more “business friendly.” Obama is the biggest “job killer of all time – regulate, regulate, regulate, regulate, tax, tax, tax, tax, tax. And of course, Obama’s Cloward-Piven strategy is to destroy capitalism by swelling the welfare roles and unsustainable debt through unproductive maniacal spending thereby collapsing our economy so that he can install his beloved Marx1st Socialist State. “Barack Obama is Destroying Our Economy on Purpose,”
Regarding your response on FoxNews.com, your premise is wrong: your grandfather DID pay for those roads and laws through taxes and he was able to pay them because of the profits he earned from his business. He also made it possible for his employees to contribute through the taxes they paid on the wages they earned while in his employ. Without businesses such as your grandfather’s, the profits those businesses generated and the salaries they paid there likely would be no roads as we know them because there woud be no income for the government to tax with which to pay for their construction. You are right that government plays a “supporting role” but that is not what Mr. Obama said. He said, “You didn’t build that.” I am sorry you seem to feel that the business your grandfather had was built built by the government. That really dismisses the hard work of your grandfather, and his employees, not to mention the sacrifices your grandmother, mother/father, aunts and uncles gave so he could spend the time to make his business a success.
I am a small business owner and know i “do not” want to pay anymore taxes!!! Today the IG for the Dept of Energy says it cannot find $500 million of equipment that a company was suppose to buy with money from a DOE Energy Grant (my tax dollars)!! I have been in business for 25 years and i am physically tired of working and seeing my hard earned taxes being wasted and stolen. Please explain to me how someone in the so call “middle class” is going to create a job!!
The people who make a million dollars or more or the ones that are going to create jobs. If you had ever run a business you would know this. Why should i hire more people and pay more taxes, just to be wasted and thrown up a wild pigs butt!!!!
Where were all you concerned libs with Obama’s school transcripts and other significant details of the “Illustrious One” and his past? The guy has been an abject failure.
